Therese E. Adams – Family Medicine Physician
MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Mrs. Adams is a proud native of Mundelein, IL and so happy to be serving the community in which she grew up.
Mrs. Adams started her nursing career at the College of Lake County in Grayslake, IL. She then received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Addison, IL. As an RN, she worked in multiple departments within the hospital setting ranging from medical-surgical to orthopedics to oncology. She also served at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Zion, IL for over 7 years before becoming a nurse practitioner. It was there that she found her love of holistic nursing and in turn, holistic health care. She was able to see doctors utilize homeopathy, supplements, and other complementary modalities to aid in the treatment and recovery of multiple patients.
Mrs. Adams feels blessed to have join Dr. Joseph Starkman in his practice. Not only does it allow her to incorporate natural treatments, but encourages her growth and education.
