Services
At Osteopathic Healing Arts, we concentrate on health and wellness. We want to get to know you and we want you to know us. We’re excited to introduce you to a new kind of family healthcare: Direct Primary Care. DPC is gaining popularity throughout Chicago and the United States and focuses on providing you with an excellent relationship between you and your primary care provider. There is no insurance. There are no deductibles or co-pays. We simply implement a membership model where you pay a monthly membership fee based on your age. If you have insurance, you can still become a patient as your insurance may cover additional services outside our clinic. We welcome you to read further or give us a call to see how Direct Primary Care can work for you!

Therese E. Adams, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Mrs. Adams is a proud native of Mundelein, IL and so happy to be serving the community in which she grew up. Mrs. Adams started her nursing career at the College of Lake County in Grayslake, IL. She then received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Addison, IL. As an RN, she worked in multiple departments within the hospital setting ranging from medical-surgical to orthopedics to oncology. She also served at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Zion, IL for over 7 years before becoming a nurse practitioner. It was there that she found her love of holistic nursing and in turn, holistic health care. She was able to see doctors utilize homeopathy, supplements, and other complementary modalities to aid in the treatment and recovery of multiple patients. Mrs. Adams feels blessed to have joined Dr. Joseph Starkman in his practice. Not only does it allow her to incorporate natural treatments, but encourages her growth and education.
